Semrock Introduces Three New Raman Edge Filters

Rochester, NY  -  Semrock, Inc. announces the addition of three new ultasharp long wave pass filters optimized for Raman spectroscopy for use with 325 nm (HeCd), 473 nm (Argon-ion or doubled Nd:Yag), and 1064 nm (Nd:Yag) lasers.  These highly stable and reliable thin-film filters block the laser line with an optical density >6 and yet highly trasmit the wavelengths that are only 1% longer than the laser line.  This unprecedented performance is made possible by combining the very latest in ion-beam sputtering technology with Semrock's proprietary manufacturing tools.  these new additions to Semrock's popular Raman edge filter family increase to eight the number of standard laser lines that benefit from this new technology.
