Robert Beeson, MS – General Manager
Education - BS in Applied Physics, Georgia Institute of Technology, MSEE in Electro-optics, CREOL/University of Central Florida
Before joining Semrock the first time during the start up years, Rob was a Senior Engineer for JDS Uniphase, and Southwest Research Institute. Before his return to Semrock as VP of Engineering, he was a Principle Physics Engineer for Raytheon and DRS Technologies. Rob is also an accomplished pianist.
Turan Erdogan, PhD - Chief Technology Officer
Education - BS in Physics and Electrical Engineering from MIT, PhD in Optics from the University of Rochester
As the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Turan Erdogan is involved in most aspects of the operation. Before starting Semrock, he enjoyed an Associate Professorship at the University of Rochester and his leadership style reflects his teaching roots. Turan is currently training for a triathlon in his "spare time."
David Lisborg – Controller
Education - BS in Accounting, SUNY Oswego
David has been with Semrock as Controller since 2006. Before Semrock, Dave rose through the ranks at Thermo Electron Corp. A big sports fan, David is also an avid Syracuse supporter and has a large orange shirt collection.
Moez Adatia – VP of Sales
Education - BS in Electrical Engineering, Florida Atlantic University
Moez has over 21 years of experience and is responsible for Semrock world-wide sales. Moez focuses on domestic and international channel partners, OEM customers and overall company sales strategy. Prior to Semrock, Moez co-founded iPhotonics, a successful high technology company in the optics space, which was acquired by Solectron Corp. Moez enjoys good food and a good story to go with it.
Dick Barrett – VP of Operations
Education - BS from Clarkson College of Technology
Dick brings optics operations management experience from Eastman Kodak, as well as key experience as the former GM for Imaginant, Inc. Dick is passionate about restoring antique cars and drives his 1950 Ford Deluxe to work, weather permitting.
