High Performance Microscopy

In fluorescence microscopy, fluorescent molecules are attached to targets of interest to enable quantification, identification and even real-time tracking of activity on a microscopic scale.  The selection of high quality optical filters is essential to getting the sensitivity needed as the the industry demands smaller sample volumes, miniaturization of instrumentation and increased specificity.  These features are important for applications such as the sequencing of DNA, RNA or proteins.

Semrock's BrightLine® fluorescence filters are brighter, provide better contrast, and have been proven to be far more durable than conventional filters. We stock a complete line of fluorescence filters and sets that are optimized for fluorescence microscopy applications.
