Position: Manufacturing Associate - Optical Coatings & Filters

Location: Rochester, New York

Brief Description: Person to be part of a key team that manufactures sophisticated optical components for the biotech
and analytical instrumentation markets.

Detailed Description: The Company manufactures advanced optical coating & filter products. The Company seeks
manufacturing associates who will be on the front line of manufacturing these components. There are a wide variety
of specific tasks, including: inspection; glass processing; packaging; measurement, and shipping/receiving of the
finished parts.

Required ability and skills: The right person will have a strong work ethic, be good with their hands, will not mind doing
repetitive tasks, but will still think for themselves and learn new skills, and be very much a team player. Basic computer
literacy is a must. The position may require standing for extended periods of time and some lifting.

Desired Traits: Experience handling glass is ideal (cleaning, cutting, grinding, polishing, etc.) but machine shop experience
is an excellent alternative. Advanced computer skills are valuable. Must be willing to work nonstandard hours (including an
evening shift) as required.
