With a tuning range of greater than 12% of the normal-incidence wavelength (by varying the angle of incidence from 0° to 60°), only five filters are needed to cover the full visible spectrum. The image to the upper-right demonstrates the TBP01-550/15 center wavelength shift and fixed full-width-at-half-maximum (FWHM) bandwidth of 20 nm. And, the image on the lower-right displays the transmission spectra over the full operating range. Note the almost nonexistant polarization dependence.
These filters are ideal for applications ranging from fluorescence imaging and measurements to hyperspectral imaging and high-throughput spectroscopy. And with high optical quality and damage threshold, they are well-suited for a wide range of laser applications as well.
