 Set description
Unique UV fluorescence filter set! Only Semrock offers true UV fluorescence filters with high transmission, edge steepness, and blocking that rival high-performance visible filters. The filters in this set are ideal for imaging the intrinsic fluorescence from aromatic amino acids (like tryptophan) and other UV-excited fluorescent species.
Filter Average Transmission Center Wavelength Bandwidth *
 Exciter > 65% 280 nm 20 nm
 Emitter > 75% 357 nm 44 nm
Average Reflection Reflection Band Transmission Band
 Dichroic > 98% 255 - 295 nm 315 - 600 nm
* Bandwidth is the minimum width over which the average transmission exceeds the specified passband transmission; the nominal full-width-at-half-maximum (FWHM) is approximately the Bandwidth + 1% of the Center Wavelength.
Note: This set is optimized for systems using a light source (such as a UV LED or filtered Xe arc lamp) with no near-infrared (near-IR) intensity and/or a detector (such as a photomultiplier tube or IR-filtered CCD camera) that is not sensitive to near-IR light. It is not designed to block near-IR light – for applications involving a light source with appreciable near-IR intensity and a near-IR-sensitive detector, contact us.
