      Laser Dichroic Beamsplitters
These 45-degree angle of incidence dichroic beamsplitters are optimized for the most popular lasers used for fluorescence imaging, including newer all-solid-state lasers. Reflection is guaranteed > 98% (s-polarization) and
> 94% (average polarization) at the laser wavelengths, plus > 93% average transmission and very low ripple over extremely wide passbands – out to 900 and even 1200 nm. The transition from reflection to transmission is exceptionally steep (< 2.5% of the longest laser wavelength) to maximize capture of weak signals close to the laser line – making these a perfect match to the normal incidence long-wave-pass EdgeBasic™ filters.
BrightLine Laser Dichroics are designed to contribute less than one Rayleigh Range of shift in focus (relative to a perfectly flat mirror) at the focal plane of a microscope objective or other focusing lens after reflecting a collimated Gaussian laser beam with a waist diameter up to 2.5 mm.
Applications include:
   • Any microscope or imaging system that benefits from premium beamsplitter spectral performance and/or flatness
   • Laser-scanning confocal microscopes (e.g. Olympus FluoView FV300, FV1000; Nikon Eclipse C1 Plus/si, A1)
   • Spinning-disk confocal microscopes (e.g. BD Biosciences CARV II; Olympus DSU)
   • Total-internal-reflection fluorescence (TIRF) microscopes (e.g. Olympus TIRF Illuminator, FV1000-EVA; Nikon TIRF)

   • Structured illumination microscopes (e.g. Qioptiq OptiGrid®)
These rectangular 25 mm x 36 mm x 1 mm thick dichroics fit popular filter "cubes" for fluorescence microscopes from Nikon, Olympus and Zeiss (contact Semrock for sizes for Leica microscopes).
How Laser Dichroics fit into the Semrock filter line-up: These 45-degree beamsplitters can be mixed and matched with a wide variety of bandpass filters and long-pass filters, and are included in our Laser Fluorescence 3-filter sets.
