| Brightest
DAPI set on the market. This unique “flamethrower”
filter set is recommended for those special cases in which
it is critical to achieve the highest brightness for the shortest
possible exposure times, or for very low fluorophore concentrations.
For shorter exposure times this set exhibits up to 5 times
more brightness but has lower contrast and more photobleaching
than the DAPI-1160A set. For most applications that require
low background, high contrast (signal-to-noise ratio), and
minimized photobleaching, we recommend our DAPI-1160A
set. In all cases our filters are uniquely hard-coated, for
"no burn out" performance where it is most needed. |

| * Bandwidth
is the minimum width over which the average transmission
exceeds the specified passband transmission; the nominal
full-width-at-half-maximum (FWHM) is approximately the
Bandwidth + 1% of the Center Wavelength. |
